Our Story
When Juana was young, her great-grandmother would wrap her with a piece of fabric to get an idea of how to make her a dress. She never used a tape measure or made a pattern for any garment she made. She taught Juana how to use a sewing machine to assemble garments, sparking Juana’s lifelong passion for sewing.
Later, as an adult, Juana was diagnosed with cancer. Although she won her battle, she was told that she could never become pregnant. But soon afterward, a miracle happened and Juana and her husband were blessed with two children: their two dreams and the inspiration behind the company.
Juana became a full-time mother, staying at home with her two little girls. It was a wonderful experience watching her children grow. But as an entrepreneur at heart, she missed some of her independence. She decided to follow her passion to sew.
Juana began Two Dreams as a hobby making handmade bags for friends. Now, her one-of-a-kind items are being sent all over the world!
For Juana, being able to stay at home with her children while living out her passion for sewing is everything she dreamed of. Juana still thinks about what her great-grandmother told her:
“There is nothing wrong with dreaming big. Maybe you’ll get half of your goals, dreams, or ambitions that you had. You just need to be persistent”
